IDCS worked as a sub-consultant to Brown and Caldwell to standardize and optimize St. Louis MSD asset management practices. Our team utilized our experience with IBM Maximo software to research and analyze assets within the MSD system. These efforts were formalized into the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and Tactical Asset Management Plan (TAMP) reports.
For the St. Louis City Parks project, IDCS designed electrical upgrades at the historic Carondelet Park Boathouse and the Beckett Park comfort station.
IDCS was contracted to work on six operable IDOT bridges over the Des Plaines River in Joliet, IL. Each of the six bridges is subject to both automobile and pedestrian traffic, while the thoroughfare below is subject to varying levels of maritime traffic, both commercial and private in nature (e.g. freight barges and sailboats).
IDCS worked as a sub-consultant to SpecPro for power studies for an Air Force base located in Minot North Dakota. Utilizing SKM software IDCS completed a short circuit study which included over 300 bus points from the incoming service entrance to the panelboard distribution level.
Tyndall AFB Medical Center is a 50,000 square foot building contained over 70 distribution panels in various stages of life, as well as 30 transformers. The scope of this project was to update and eliminate panels and transformers where possible and create a new efficient electrical distribution system.
IDCS was contracted to participate in the East Cooling Tower Replacement project at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The East Cooling Tower is responsible for providing cooling to the Terminal Building at O'Hare International Airport.
Division XI is a state of the art 640,000 square foot, medium-security facility. Consisting of central core surrounded by four housing PODS, Division XI can house 1,536 male detainees.
Intelligent Design and Construction Solutions, LLC was subcontracted by MWH for the City of Chicago Department of Environment (CDoE) to visit and assess solar array sites. These sites varied in nature from Chicago Public Schools, to community centers, to a heritage museum.
Intelligent Design & Construction Solutions, LLC was chosen to team with M3 Engineering for the project to provide street renovations in the City of Clayton, Missouri, near Brentwood and Carondelet Avenues.
Largest CTA Fueling facility, that includes bus maintenance (both light and heavy duty) as well as bus washing. This facility services over 400 buses a day. IDCS involvement in the site improvements and remediation project was both mechanical and electrical in nature.
IDCS was responsible for providing the design of the Electrical Distribution and Lighting Systems for a new Firefighter Simulator Building for the City of Chicago at the O'Hare International Airport. The building was approximately 3,000 square feet and included an 18' high simulator area.
