IDCS is committed to Providing Clients with Sustainable Electrical Designs
In this day of rising energy costs and global warming sustainability has come to the forefront of most peoples minds. IDCS, LLC has been engaged in designing sustainable solutions from its inception as a campaign in 1999. We design systems with Variable Frequency Drives which save energy by allowing motors to run to meet the demand. IDCS, LLC standard is to design power distributions systems with electronic metering systems that can be used for recording energy usage for benchmarking. Our lighting designs take not only demand and esthetics into consideration but also maintenance into consideration by specifying the induction light fixtures which have a life of 7-10 before they need to be changed. In order to improve the sustainability of our designs IDCS, LLC has attended seminars and received certifications to help them stay on top of the changing industry of energy savings.

IDCS has a LEED Associated Professional (LEED AP) on Staff who is familiar with the procedures and design of LEED Certified Buildings.
IDCS has a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) on Staff that can conduct Energy Audits to help Clients reduce energy costs.
IDCS has a City of Chicago Registered Energy Professional
IDCS has an Illinois DCEO trained facilitator who can implement the State's LEAP Program for Energy Plan / Energy Audit funding
